Why MTrack?

MTrack’s staff and engineers have been servicing and developing rubber track systems since 2014. Thanks to their long experience, the track systems have been continuously improved and adapted to customer requirements. The tracks are developed in the snow-covered Austrian Alps, in the heart of Europe.

So that a tracked vehicle can be used without restriction on snow, mud and loose ground, MTrack does not use wheel-hub based systems but develops a dedicated carrier axle for every vehicle.

Thanks to this design, all four tracks adapt perfectly to the ground, which prevents the track system from tipping over and protects the wheel hub of the carrier vehicle.

Independently tested

Less pressure on the soil

On 19 September 2025, the Bern University of Applied Sciences (HAFL) measured on a vegetable field at Swissradies in Kerzers how much pressure different tractors put on the soil. Among them: a Deutz-Fahr 6150.4 with MTrack tracks (300 mm).

Soil pressure at 20 cm depth Peak values in untilled soil, in bar. The shorter the bar, the better.

Without implement

Deutz-Fahr 6150.4 with MTrack 0.75 bar
Deutz-Fahr 6120 TTV with row-crop tyres 1.2 bar

With mounted rotary tiller

Deutz-Fahr 6150.4 with MTrack 0.75 bar
Deutz-Fahr 6120 TTV with row-crop tyres 1.6 bar

Source: Bern University of Applied Sciences HAFL, soil pressure measurements Kerzers, 19.09.2025 (measuring point 2, Bolling probes). The guideline for topsoil is 1 bar. Full report in German (PDF, 4 MB) (opens in a new window)

  • Below the guideline: Despite an empty weight of over 8.5 t, the Deutz-Fahr 6150.4 with MTrack stays below 1 bar in the topsoil, even with a mounted rotary tiller.
  • Half the pressure with a tiller: 0.75 bar with MTrack tracks compared with 1.6 bar for the reference tractor on row-crop tyres.
  • Protection for the subsoil: Thanks to the tracks, the guideline of 0.5 bar at 40 cm depth is not exceeded either, despite the higher rear-axle load (measured in the wheel track).
  • Stable under draught: With 35 kN of pulling force, the MTrack tracks hardly tend to rear up.

The GBL 300 track system was measured on a Deutz-Fahr 6150.4. Values may differ for other systems, vehicles and soils.

Applications
